As of February 1, 2026, the monetary base in Azerbaijan amounted to 22 billion 545.3 million manats, APA-Economics reports, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the information, the monetary base increased by 0.33%, or 75.1 million manats, over the past month.
In an annual comparison, the monetary base rose by 12%, or 2 billion 421.2 million manats.
Note that the monetary base includes cash in circulation and bank reserves (free and required reserves of commercial banks).
