In 2025, 845.9 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables worth 901 million 500 thousand US dollars were exported from Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports, citing the report of the State Customs Committee
The value of fruits and vegetables exported from the country increased by 27.4% or 193.7 million dollars, and the volume increased by 23.2% or 159.7 thousand tons compared to the previous year. In 2024, Azerbaijan exported 686.3 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables worth 707 million 795 thousand US dollars.
The main exported fruit and vegetable products during the reporting period were tomatoes worth $192.5 million (172.9 thousand tons), hazelnuts worth $170.7 million (18.9 thousand tons), dates worth $144.2 million (187.6 thousand tons), apples worth $75.1 million (106.4 thousand tons), pomegranates worth $35.3 million (35.9 thousand tons), and potatoes worth $28.4 million (71.4 thousand tons).
Last year, the share of fruits and vegetables in total exports was 3.6%, and their share in non-oil exports was 24.85%.
