The death toll from the US operation in Venezuela has reached 80, says a senior Venezuelan official, APA reports, citing The New York Times.
According to the source, civilians and security forces were among those killed in the attack on Saturday.
It is not excluded that the death toll will increase.
It should be noted that on January 3, the US conducted a military operation in Venezuela, and airborne forces captured Nicolas Maduro and his wife. The Venezuelan President and his wife were brought to New York.
