NYT: At least 40 people were killed as result of US attack on Venezuela

At least 40 people, including civilians, were killed in a U.S. attack on Caracas, Venezuela, on January 3, APA reports citing The New York Times.

According to him, as a result of US actions on January 3 in Venezuela, "at least 40 people, including military personnel and civilians" were killed.

US President Donald Trump confirmed that the United States has launched major airstrikes against Venezuela. He also announced that the republic's leader, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife had been captured and taken out of the country.
