Azerbaijan and North Macedonia to waive visas for diplomatic and official passport holders

Azerbaijan and North Macedonia have agreed to mutually waive visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service/official passports, APA reports.

This is reflected in a draft law included on the agenda of the Milli Majlis’ session scheduled for June 21, which proposes the approval of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia on exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service/official passports.

The agreement was signed in Baku on March 12, 2025.

According to the agreement, citizens holding valid diplomatic or official/service passports of either country may enter, transit through, and stay in the other country for up to 90 days within any 180-day period without a visa.
