The State Migration Service has addressed foreigners and stateless persons with extended temporary stay in Azerbaijan, the Migration Service told APA.
It was noted that foreigners and stateless persons who have been in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan since March 24, 2020, and whose temporary stay was extended by the State Migration Service due to inability to leave the country amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and whose presence is considered legal, must apply to the State Migration Service for a temporary residence permit by July 31, 2025, if they meet one of the grounds specified in Article 45 of the Migration Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, or leave the country.
