The Islamic Republic of Iran is as ready for war as it is for negotiations, said Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi at a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan in Istanbul, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
According to him, if the United States declares war on Iran, it will not be limited to just the two countries.
“We are now in a more prepared position compared to the period before the war in June. Just as we responded strongly to the aggressions committed against our country at that time, we will continue to show a determined and strong reaction from now on as well. At the same time, I believe that the United States’ direct involvement in the process this time will further change the situation. This could lead to completely different outcomes compared to the previous war. Unfortunately, there is also a possibility that this war could cross borders. This is a characteristic stemming from the nature of war. That is why I hope the sides will act with reason and logic,” Araghchi noted,” Araghchi noted.
