Yerevan intends to deepen cooperation with Russia on opening communications.

Yerevan intends to deepen cooperation with Russia on opening regional communications, Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, said today at a briefing after a government meeting, APA reports, citing Armenian media.

According to him, the Armenian side has sent a written appeal to Moscow on this issue.

Recalling that representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan had a joint inspection of the Sadarak-Yeraskh railway section, the Prime Minister noted that overall positive signals are already noticeable and Yerevan hopes that the process will accelerate: “Processes are underway in the region and they cannot be stopped. I hope our Russian colleagues will not delay. The same issue also applies to the area in Akhuryk. If, for any reason, our Russian partners do not want to carry out these investments, we will take over these areas and do everything ourselves.”
