Russia is ready to explore possible options for joining the TRIPP project, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a briefing held today, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to her, “the Russian side is in contact with Armenian counterparts through the economic bloc.”
“The government is investigating all requests from Yerevan. These requests are being promptly processed by our profile agencies. As for the "Trump Route" (TRIPP project - ed.), we confirm our readiness to study possible options for joining this project, including the unique expertise of Russian railways. Most likely, first of all, it is necessary to familiarize ourselves with the details of the implementation and operation of this initiative. As far as we understand, this is only at the initial stage. Our proposal to hold consultations in Yerevan with the participation of all interested parties remains in force,” the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson added.
