Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that preparations are underway for the next meeting in the “3+3” format with Türkiye and Azerbaijan, APA’s Bureau in Türkiye reports.
Lavrov stressed that it is desirable for Georgia to join the negotiations.
“We have already held two ministerial meetings with the main members of the ‘3+3’ format, together with Türkiye and Azerbaijan. Now a third meeting is being prepared. Our Georgian neighbors are currently avoiding participation. However, we always emphasize that the door is open for them. My colleague Mr. Hakan Fidan actively supports the holding of the third ministerial meeting. The venue for the meeting is currently being determined. I hope that this process will be concluded as soon as possible,” Lavrov noted.
