During the period of January–July 2025, a total of 63,401 vehicles worth 1 billion 170 million 990 thousand US dollars were imported into Azerbaijan, the State Customs Committee told APA-Economics.
Compared to January–July 2024, the number of vehicles imported into the country increased by 23.9% or 12,222 units, and the value increased by 24.1% or 227.1 million dollars. In the corresponding period of 2024, 51,179 vehicles worth 943 million 791 thousand US dollars were imported into Azerbaijan.
Note that during the reporting period, the number of imported vehicles powered solely by electric engines amounted to 1,180 units, which is 34% less compared to the corresponding period of last year.
