Azerbaijan’s commitment to the Zangezur corridor is clearly evident, said US traveler Stephen Nemet during his visit to Karabakh and East Zangezur, APA reports.
“I feel very fortunate to be here. It is very interesting to witness the construction of the Zangezur corridor at this moment. It is also fascinating to see how close Azerbaijan and Armenia are to each other. It is clear that Azerbaijan is highly committed to this project, and extensive construction work has been carried out. The entire road has been asphalted and tunnels have been built. It will be very interesting to see this project fully completed. This corridor will contribute to the development of economic ties between Azerbaijan’s mainland, Nakhchivan, and other countries along the route. I think regional cooperation is very important here overall. Azerbaijan has a very unique geographical position – it connects Asia and Europe. If this corridor is completed, it will become a very important land connection between many countries,” the traveler said.
