One of the most important outcomes of the Washington Summit was the laying of the foundation for the Zangezur corridor, said Prime Minister Ali Asadov during the presentation of the “Report on the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2025,” APA reports.
It was noted that the summit meeting held in Washington on August 8, 2025, with the participation of the leaders of Azerbaijan, the United States, and Armenia, made it possible to shape new geopolitical realities in the region and create favorable conditions for sustainable peace and development in the region.
One of the most important outcomes of the Washington Peace Summit was also the laying of the foundation for the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) – the Zangezur corridor: “This multimodal route will ensure unhindered connectivity between the mainland of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and at the same time will serve to diversify international transport and transit routes passing through our country.”
