War veterans with disabilities and families of martyrs are exempt from state fees for documents related to the registration of property rights, APA reports.
It is reflected in the amendment to the Law "On State Duty" approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
Articles 6 of the law “On the State Register of Real Estate” and Article 26 of the law “On State Duty” regulate state fee rates charged for issuing documents related to the state registration of ownership and other property rights.
These include:
- issuance of registry extracts and technical documents (passports and measurement plans) related to the state registration of rights to real estate;
- land surveying work for the registration of rights to land plots;
- issuance of certificates from the state register on restrictions (encumbrances) on real estate rights;
- state registration of mortgages;
- and other legal actions related to real estate.
The proposed amendment provides for exemption from state duties for socially vulnerable groups, including persons with disabilities resulting from war, the January 20 events, the performance of military service duties (including service related to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant), as well as individuals granted the status of families of martyrs.
