Tehran police have arrested a person who is allegedly connected to Israel’s foreign intelligence service (Mossad), APA reports, citing Iranian media.
The police stated that the individual had infiltrated groups of protesters and attempted to turn peaceful demonstrations into unrest.
The detainee confessed that he had received training on a number of issues, ranging from the use of mobile phones to carrying out various intelligence assignments.
He has been handed over to judicial authorities for further legal proceedings.
