Issues of developing defense relations between Azerbaijan and the United States were discussed.
According to the Ministry of Defense , today, Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with Markwayne Mallin, a member of the Armed Forces Committee of the United States Senate, who is visiting our country, and other members of the House of Representatives.
During the meeting organized at the Ministry of Defense, Colonel General Z. Hasanov expressed his satisfaction with the current state of relations between Azerbaijan and the United States, noting that these relations are of special importance for our countries.
Markwayne Mallin, in turn, emphasized that mutual visits and meetings held in various formats are effective in expanding our relations.
The meeting discussed the current state, new opportunities and development prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States in the military, military-technical, and military education fields, as well as a wide exchange of views on many other issues of mutual interest.
