Azerbaijan sends new relocation caravans to villages in Aghdara and Khojaly, families receive house keys -PHOTO-UPDATED-1

Today, 176 people were relocated to the villages of Khojaly and Aghdara, the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in the city of Khankendi and the districts of Aghdara and Khojaly told APA’s Karabakh bureau.

On December 22, 15 families consisting of 66 people returned to Badara village of Khojaly, 4 families consisting of 11 people to Dashbulag village, 54 people to Hasanriz village of Aghdara, 31 people to Kolatag village, and 14 people to Vangli village. After the residents were welcomed in their native lands, the Deputy Executive Director of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in the city of Khankendi and the districts of Aghdara and Khojaly, Mahmud Afandiyev, presented them with the keys. He stated that the keys presented today symbolize not only homes, but also a long-awaited return.

The return is also the restoration of historical justice. According to M. Afandiyev, the state stands by the residents with all its capabilities, and all the necessary infrastructure has been created for comfortable and safe living on these lands. Residential houses have been restored, and electricity, gas, drinking water, road and communication lines have been put into operation. The employment of the relocated families remains constantly in focus.

The next relocation caravans have arrived in the villages of Hasanriz, Vangli, and Kolatag in the Aghdara district, as well as in the villages of Dashbulag and Badara in the Khojaly district, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.

At this phase, 6 families – 14 people – have been relocated to Vangli village, 7 families – 31 people – to Kolatag village in the Agdara district, 4 families – 11 people – to Dashbulaq village, and 15 families – 66 people – to Badara village in the Khojaly district.

Next relocation caravans have been sent to the villages of Hasanriz, Vangli, and Kolatag in the Aghdara district, as well as to the villages of Dashbulag and Badara in the Khojaly district, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.

At this phase, 6 families – 14 people – are being sent to Vangli village, 7 families – 31 people – to Kolatag village in the Aghdara district, 4 families – 11 people – to Dashbulag village, and 15 families – 66 people – to Badara village in the Khojaly district, departing from the territory of the Aghdam district.

The families being relocated are those temporarily settled in various regions of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
