A magnitude 4.0 earthquake was recorded near the city of Zelenokumsk (Stavropol Krai); there were no casualties or damage, the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations said, APA reports.
"A seismic event with a magnitude of 4.0 was recorded 11 km from the city of Zelenokumsk at a depth of 10 km. There were no casualties or damage," the statement said.
The department clarified that all essential services are operating as normal.
