At today's session of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan’s Parliament), the draft law “On the Execution of the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2024” was brought to discussion, APA reports.
The state budget revenues for 2024 amounted to 37.1618 billion manats, which is 2.1% higher than the approved forecast. Expenditures totaled 37.7136 billion manats, 5.1% lower than the approved forecast. As a result, the state budget deficit stood at 551.8 million manats, 6.1 times lower compared to the initially projected deficit.
Following the discussions, the draft law was put to a vote and adopted in the third reading.
