3,297 people have been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan so far

A total of 3,297 people were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan from 8:00 on February 28 to 10:00 on April 4.

APA reports that 572 of the evacuees are Azerbaijani citizens.

At the same time, China has 730, Russia 354, Bangladesh 198, Tajikistan 189, Pakistan 151, India 238, Oman 84, Indonesia 68, Iran 134, Italy 44, Algeria 57, Spain 26, Germany 25, Canada 25, France 19, Saudi Arabia 18, Japan 18, Georgia 19, Uzbekistan 16, Poland 14, Switzerland 14, Nigeria 13, Hungary 12, Bahrain 16, Kazakhstan 13, Mexico 11, USA 13, Belarus 11, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Democratic Republic of Congo 10 each, Brazil 9, Sudan 8, Venezuela 7, Finland, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belgium, United Arab Emirates Six citizens from each of the emirates were evacuated.

In addition, among the evacuees are 5 citizens each from Turkey, Serbia, Sweden, Afghanistan, Australia, Austria, Greece, Vietnam, Finland, Kyrgyzstan, 4 each from Jordan, Philippines, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Netherlands, 3 each from Qatar, Croatia, Denmark, Norway, 2 each from Nepal, Lebanon, Yemen, Myanmar, Cyprus, Egypt, Slovenia.

One citizen each from Tunisia, South Africa, Maldives, Cuba, Vatican, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, Belize and Dominica has been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan.

Recall that the US and Israel launched military operations against Iran on February 28. As a result, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and a number of senior officials were killed. After that, Iran began to strike targets it had identified in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Iraq and Cyprus, where the US and its allies have military bases, in addition to Israel.
