A total of 2,309 people have been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan between February 28 at 08:00 and March 13 at 10:00, APA reports.
Of those evacuated, 403 are Azerbaijani citizens.
In addition, the evacuees include 686 citizens of China, 294 of Russia, 178 of Tajikistan, 140 of Pakistan, 68 of Indonesia, 57 of Oman, 44 of Italy, 33 of Iran, 26 of Spain, 25 of Algeria, 18 of Saudi Arabia, 17 of Japan, 16 of France, 16 of Germany, 13 of Uzbekistan, 13 of Georgia, 13 of Nigeria, 12 of Hungary, 12 of Poland, 11 of Switzerland, 11 of Mexico, 10 of Belarus, 10 of Kazakhstan, 10 of Bulgaria, 10 of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, 10 of Canada, 9 of the United Kingdom, 8 of Brazil, 6 of the UAE, 6 of Slovakia, 6 of Belgium, 6 of Romania, 5 of India, 5 of Serbia, 5 of the Czech Republic, 5 of Afghanistan, 5 of Austria, 5 of Greece, 4 of Jordan, 4 of Bangladesh, 4 of Türkiye, 4 of Ukraine, 4 of Sri Lanka, 4 of Kuwait, 4 of Bahrain, 4 of the United States, 4 of Finland, 4 of the Netherlands, 3 of Qatar, 3 of the Philippines, 3 of Croatia, 3 of Denmark, 3 of Australia, 2 of Nepal, 2 of Lebanon, 2 of Yemen, 2 of Kyrgyzstan, 2 of Sweden, 2 of Sudan, 2 of Cyprus and 2 of Slovenia.
One citizen each from Tunisia, South Africa, the Maldives, Myanmar, Cuba, the Vatican, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, Egypt and Belize was also evacuated.
