The “Agreement on strategic partnership for the restoration of education infrastructure in the Syrian Arab Republic between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Education of the Syrian Arab Republic, and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization” has been approved, APA reports.
President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree in this regard.
According to the decree, after the Agreement enters into force, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan must ensure the implementation of its provisions, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan must send a notification to the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization regarding the completion of the necessary domestic procedures required for the Agreement’s entry into force.
