Azerbaijani President’s Special Representative for Special Assignments Khalaf Khalafov has visited Pakistan, APA reports, citing Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
Khalaf Khalafov met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
During the meeting, Khalaf Khalafov briefed Ishaq Dar on the initiatives implemented and planned under Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of CICA (Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia).
The head of Pakistan’s MFA expressed his country’s support for Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the platform and voiced support for Azerbaijan’s efforts to strengthen regional cooperation.
The sides exchanged views on prospects for further strengthening bilateral ties.
