Russia and Ukraine will continue bilateral talks on the settlement of Ukraine in Abu Dhabi on February 1, US Secretary of State and National Security Advisor to the President Marco Rubio said this at a hearing held at the Foreign Relations Committee of the US Congress Senate, APA reports.
According to him, last week, a trilateral meeting was held in the UAE for the first time after a long break with the participation of the United States. The talks were attended by US President Donald Trump's special representative Stephen Whitkoff, as well as American businessman Jared Kushner, representatives of Russia and Ukraine.
Marco Rubio said that the next meeting planned for this week will be held in a bilateral format and Stephen Whitkoff and Jared Kushner will not participate at this stage.
However, it is not ruled out that US representatives may join the talks if necessary.
