The current round of ceasefire talks between the US and Iran, led by regional mediators led by Pakistan, has reached an impasse, according to the mediators, APA reports citing The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
According to the publication, Tehran refused to meet with American officials in Islamabad and called Washington's demands unacceptable. Meanwhile, Türkiye and Egypt continue to seek a way out of the impasse and are considering new negotiating venues, including Doha and Istanbul.
