Azerbaijan relocates new group of former IDPs to Horovlu, families receive house keys -PHOTO-UPDATED

The next resettlement convoy has arrived in Horovlu village of Jabrayil district, and residents have been handed the keys to their homes, APA’s local bureau reports.

Employees of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, and other officials took part in the key handover ceremony.

The families have settled into their homes.

At this stage, 20 families, totaling 77 people, have been resettled to Horovlu village. They are families temporarily settled in hostels, sanatoriums, camps, unfinished buildings, and administrative buildings in various areas of the republic.

In line with President Ilham Aliyev's instructions, the Great Return to the liberated territories continues, APA reports.

Those resettling in Horovlu village of Jabrayil district are families who had been temporarily accommodated in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.

At this stage, 20 families comprising 77 people have been relocated to Horovlu village in Jabrayil district.

The residents returning to their native land expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care provided to them.

They also conveyed their appreciation to the brave Azerbaijani Army, as well as to the heroic soldiers and officers who liberated the country’s territories from occupation, and offered prayers for the souls of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives on this path.
