Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev on April 1, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
The meeting discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States, and emphasized the organization’s growing role as a multilateral platform.
It was noted that cooperation among member states of the organization in political, economic, transport, energy, and humanitarian fields has significantly expanded in recent years.
During the meeting, it was stated that efforts will continue to further develop cooperation during Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the OTS and to enhance the organization’s international standing.
