Fines have been established for the import, export, production, wholesale and retail sale, as well as storage for sale of electronic cigarettes and their components, APA reports.
This is reflected in amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
Under the law, starting from April 1, electronic cigarettes and their components involved in administrative offenses will be confiscated. Individuals will be fined from 350 to 500 manats, officials from 1,650 to 2,200 manats, and legal entities from 4,000 to 5,000 manats.
