Amid reports of a ceasefire between the United States and Iran, in trading on the ICE London intercontinental exchange, the value of the June 2026 Brent crude oil export contract increased by 2.32% to $96.95 per barrel, APA-Economics reports.
On the NYMEX commodity exchange in New York, the price of WTI crude oil futures for May 2026 delivery also rose by 3.22% to 97.45 US dollars per barrel.
