Amid reports of a ceasefire between the United States and Iran, the value of the June 2026 Brent crude export contract fell by 13.26% to $94.78 per barrel during trading on the ICE London intercontinental exchange, APA-Economics reports.
The price of WTI crude for May 2026 delivery on the NYMEX commodity exchange in New York also decreased by 14.33%, amounting to $96.76 per barrel.
