Spiritual representation in the Armenian army has been abolished, APA reports, citing Armenian media.
Cleric Psak Mkrtchyan said that the spiritual representation in the Armenian army has been abolished based on an order by the Minister of Defense.
“By order of the Minister of Defense, the spiritual representation of the Armenian armed forces, which had been continuing its service for more than 20 years, has been abolished. We — the clergy — have been relieved of our duties,” he noted.
