U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio assured European representatives that issues directly affecting European countries will not be discussed in negotiations on a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, APA reports citing The New York Times.
According to the publication, during negotiations between the Ukrainian and American delegations in Geneva, "Rubio privately told the Europeans that issues directly affecting European countries would not be included in the current discussions."
