I would like to thank Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for his assistance in ensuring our passage from Iran to Azerbaijan through the border, People’s Artist of Russia, director Fyodor Bondarchuk told journalists at the Astara border crossing, APA reports.
He said that employees of the Russian Embassy in Iran also helped in this process:
“They watched us all the way to the border. Employees of the Russian Ministry of Culture and the National Media Group also provided support. All 90 people in the group are safe. Some of them will fly on today’s plane, while others will stay in Baku and fly out a little later. We are all tired. I thank you too.”
