The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has announced its forecast for the average daily global oil demand for 2026–2027, APA-Economics reports, citing OPEC’s monthly report.
According to the report, the average daily global oil demand next year will amount to 107.87 million barrels (previous forecast – 107.86 million), which is 1.34 million barrels higher than the forecast figure for 2026.
According to the forecast, this year the mentioned figure is expected to reach 106.53 million barrels (previous forecast – 106.52 million), which is 1.38 million barrels higher compared to the 2025 figure (105.15 million barrels).
Recall in 2024, the average daily global oil demand amounted to 103.84 million barrels.
