“Istisu” Mineral Water Plant LLC exported mineral water products worth $1.7 million in 2025, APA-Economics reports, citing the January issue of the “Export Review” prepared by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
“Istisu” Mineral Water Plant LLC ranked 8th among state-owned companies involved in export operations in the non-oil sector.
Recall that production of “Istisu” mineral water began in 1976 in Azerbaijan’s Kalbajar district. The plant’s operations were suspended during the period of Armenian occupation from 1993 to 2020. On June 26, 2022, the foundation stone of the “Istisu” mineral water plant was laid. On September 2, 2024, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony of the “Istisu” mineral water plant. The plant has resumed water production.
