Jordanian representative: Inclusivity is not a theoretical issue at a time when the world is going through difficult trials

“Today, when we speak about inclusive cities and independent living, we are not speaking only about engineering, urban planning, or services. We are speaking about a much broader concept,” President of Jordan’s 'I am Human' Society for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Asia Abdel Mutaleb Yaghi during her speech at the session titled “Inclusive Cities and Independent Living for Persons with Disabilities” held within the framework of WUF13, APA reports.

She noted that inclusivity is no longer a theoretical issue: “Especially at a time when the world is repeatedly going through difficult trials. The transformations and conflicts taking place around the world today are creating serious challenges.”

At the end of her speech, she expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for organizing the conference and for creating such an important platform for dialogue on issues most closely connected with the future of societies.
