The outcomes of the ministers’ meeting held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku will be submitted to the interim review on the implementation of the New Urban Agenda at the UN General Assembly, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture and National Coordinator for WUF13, Anar Guliyev, said during his speech, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, today’s meeting provides ministers with an opportunity to assess the progress achieved, share best practices, and determine priorities for the implementation of the New Urban Agenda through 2036.
Anar Guliyev noted that the concluding chair’s summary of the ministers’ meeting will make an important contribution to the high-level interim review process to be held at the United Nations General Assembly in July this year.
