Samir Sharifov, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Co-Chair of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met with the head of the Saudi Arabian delegation, Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, who arrived in Baku to participate in the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
The meeting hailed the holding of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum in Baku and Saudi Arabia's participation in the Forum.
The sides lauded the current state of economic cooperation between the two countries.
The parties also exchanged views on issues related to modern urbanization, as well as the prospects for economic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
