15 Americans wounded in drone attack on Ali al-Salem base in Kuwait

In Kuwait, 15 American servicemen were injured in an attack by an Iranian unmanned aerial vehicle on the Ali al-Salem airbase, the CBS News channel, citing sources.

"As a result of an Iranian drone strike on the Ali al-Salem airbase in Kuwait last night, 15 Americans were injured," the publication says.

It is specified that most of the victims returned to service. According to a representative of the US Central Command, a total of 373 American servicemen were injured during the operation in Iran. About 330 of them have returned to service, and five are currently considered seriously injured.

On April 6, Ibrahim Zolfakari, a representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic, announced that American troops stationed on the Kuwaiti island of Bubiyan had been attacked by Iran. He also clarified that American troops had relocated there from the Camp Arifjan military base in Kuwait.
