Armenia’s third president Serzh Sargsyan has said he is interested in the success of Robert Kocharyan’s bloc in the upcoming parliamentary elections, Armenian media reports.
He emphasized that he wants the “Armenia” bloc to succeed in the elections more than anyone else.
“This is in all of our hands,” he said.
Note that Sargsyan, who called on his supporters to vote for opposition forces, will not participate in the elections. He decided not to run in order to prevent fragmentation of the opposition.
