Hajj application deadline extended until early April as quota nears full capacity

Applications for the Hajj pilgrimage have been extended until the first weekend of April, APA reports, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) and head of the Hajj electronic system Vusal Jahangiri told in response to APA's inquiry.

“Minors are also among those registered. Ninety-two percent of the quota has been filled, with only 8 percent remaining. We urge citizens intending to perform Hajj to come and register without delay,” Vusal Jahangiri said.

It should be noted that the final registration deadline for the Hajj pilgrimage had previously been set until the end of the month of Ramadan.

Recall that for the 2026 Hajj season, the cost of the pilgrimage package per person has been set at 6,100 US dollars.

The required documents for the Hajj pilgrimage are as follows:

  1. International passport (valid for at least 1 year);
  2. Copy of ID card;
  3. Two color photographs (5 cm × 5 cm, white background; women in dark hijab);
  4. Medical certificate.
