Rosatom has begun the third phase of evacuating its personnel from Iran’s Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, Rosatom head Alexey Likhachev stated, APA’s Russia bureau reports.
According to him, two more groups will be evacuated soon.
Likhachev also said that Rosatom will reduce the number of specialists at the plant to a minimum until the situation in the region stabilizes.
He noted that the situation at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant continues to deteriorate.
Likhachev added that at 21:00 Moscow time on Tuesday, another strike hit the area near Unit 1 of the plant, with no casualties reported.
