Supreme Leader’s adviser: Iran to introduce new regime in Strait of Hormuz after war

Iran will introduce a new regime in the Strait of Hormuz after the war, adviser and assistant to the Supreme Leader, Mohammad Mokhber, said during a meeting with entrepreneurs, APA reports, citing Mehr.

According to him, by establishing a new regime for the Strait of Hormuz after the war, Iran will rise from a sanctioned position to a strong position in the region and globally.

Mokhber noted that by leveraging the strategic position of the Strait of Hormuz, Iran could restrict Western shipping activities and potentially prevent their passage through this waterway.

“Therefore, one of the outcomes of this war should be the establishment of a new regime for the Strait of Hormuz,” Mokhber emphasized.

Note that Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has also stated that Iran plans to develop new rules to regulate shipping in the Strait of Hormuz after the war with the United States and Israel.
