Last year, consumers in Azerbaijan's retail trade network spent 3,856.3 million manats on gasoline and diesel fuel alone, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.
According to the information, the indicator recorded in the reporting period exceeded the indicator of 2024 by 7.8%.
Note that oil in Azerbaijan is refined at the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery, the foundation of which was laid in 1953. The plant fully meets the republic's demand for oil products. Currently, reconstruction and modernization work are underway at the refinery.
