The Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Association (AIJA), a member of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS) and the European Union of Sports Press (AIPS Europe–UEPS), and the official representative of these organizations in Azerbaijan, has announced the traditional winner nominations for 2025, APA reports.
The best of the year were determined based on a public opinion survey conducted among the country’s mass media, sports fans, and experts.
Among the winners is Rasim Sultanzade, editor-in-chief of Apasport, who was named Journalist of the Year.
