The next meeting of the Economic Council was held today, Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
The agenda of the meeting, chaired by the Chairman of the Economic Council, Prime Minister Ali Asadov, discussed the budget-tax policy, which is of great importance for the preparation of the "State and Consolidated Budget Forecasts for 2026 and the Next Three Years", amendments to the "Tax Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan", and current economic issues.
The proposals of the Minister of Finance Sahil Babayev, the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, and the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev on the issues on the agenda were listened to and discussions were held by the members of the Economic Council.
At the end of the meeting, relevant instructions were given to the relevant state bodies, taking into account the opinions and proposals of the members of the Economic Council.
