Today, a meeting of the Economic Council was held, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
The meeting, chaired by the Economic Council Chairman and Prime Minister Ali Asadov, discussed the 2026 state budget and the structure of revenues forming the consolidated budget for the medium term, key directions of revenue policy, and other current issues.
Reports on budget and tax matters were presented by Finance Minister Sahil Babayev, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, and Labor and Social Protection Minister Anar Aliyev.
Members of the Economic Council engaged in discussions on the agenda.
At the conclusion of the meeting, taking into account the opinions and proposals of the Council members, relevant instructions were given to the respective agencies.
