On July 17-18, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov paid a visit to Hanoi to participate in the 3rd meeting of the Azerbaijan-Vietnam Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade and Scientific and Technical Cooperation and delivered a report at the meeting, MFA told APA.
Within the framework of the visit, the Deputy Minister also met with Deputy Foreign Minister of Vietnam Ms. Le Thi Thu Hang. The meeting discussed issues arising from the political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam held in Baku on April 21 of this year.
The parties also reviewed the existing potential for expanding mutual partnership between Azerbaijan and Vietnam in the political, trade and economic, energy, agriculture, transport and humanitarian spheres.
