In January–June of this year, the total production value in Azerbaijan’s mining industry amounted to 19.3035 billion manats, which is a 2.8% decrease compared to the same period of the previous year, APA-Economics reports this, citing the monthly report of the State Statistical Committee.
According to the report, 17.7081 billion manats of this total came from the extraction of crude oil and natural gas, representing a 2.7% decline year-on-year.

According to the data, during the reporting period, the production of the sector’s main products amounted to 13.7 million tons of marketable oil and 19.3 billion cubic meters of marketable natural gas.
It is noted that marketable oil production decreased by 5.3% compared to the same period last year, while marketable gas production increased by 1.1%.
