A meeting was held between Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and his Pakistani counterpart Muhammad Ishaq Dar in the city of Khankendi on the sidelines of the 17th summit of the ECO, Pakistani Foreign Minister announced on his "X" account, APA reports.
"I am glad to meet with my brother, the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov. We reaffirmed our commitment to strong Pakistan-Turkmenistan cooperation and exchanged views on key issues. In addition, we discussed international and regional issues. I expressed my gratitude to the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan for his assistance in the evacuation of Pakistanis from Iran," Muhammad Ishaq Dar mentioned.
